I'm in the GTA
and was going to get them from Harris, but I did a package deal w/ CARNEWAL since I had a bunch of stuff to do for my 996 as well.

Good Luck!

BTW, believe it or not, the c32 handles the winter better w/ the lowered suspension !!!!

The PSS-9's are not imported by Bilstein North America and therefore not listed as an offering here in the States. They must be imported through another channel. Carlsson utilizes the overseas PSS-9 architecture from Bilstein Germany while providing springs from Eibach Germany. Very little difference between the two except price. Oberklasse in Texas and Carlsson North America in Florida can help you source the Carlssons. Or you can buy mine!

SMG is..
as usual, quite correct.

MercedeSChink, email me privately at lpspeedster@netscape.net

Steve, are you getting rid of just the suspension (I recall you previously mentioning a special c32 Koni setup) or the whole car (alla normc32) ???

Cheers!

Getting closer to the race shock set up completion. Working out the details on spring shape, length and rate. This is a very expensive proposition. The Carlsson's are great and just ran a 1:34 in the wet at the Streets. Once I get below 1:32, I will make the plunge and order the bespoke race suspension and see if I can break into the 1:30's. Who knows, with 3.5 degrees of camber up front and a Quaife LSD, we just might set some records for a 3,800 lb car !

smgC32: How did you get that much negative camber? Is is a result solely of the springs/shocks lowering the car?

That was wishful thinking on the camber part. It also appears to be the same for the Quaife! You can't get much over 1.2 degrees on average with the MB camber correction bolts installed. Even offset bushing will barely push the 2 degree mark. Camber plates seem to be the only other route, but there is no solution yet to the dumb single point of attachment style strut mounting, although this does provide very good strength to the bell housing and will fair much better than an E36 strut tower which I have broken through all three mounting locations on several occations!
