Let me know if you decide to break them up for sale. I might be interested in a front, depending on price.

I want $500 apiece rim and tire, buyer pays shipping and will separate. Exactly 1800 miles on them and they are unmarked as you can see in the pics.

I only have one rear and one front. Oh yeah $150 for a used tire and $350 for a used wheel in new condition, you're right, thats outrageous!

I checked around, $500 is a good deal for the wheel alone, most dealers ask $750-975 apiece for the wheel and $200 is about as cheap as you can get for a new Pzero. If you are a good shopper you might be able to put together the package for $675-$700 for A wheel and tire. Of course you could always buy a knockoff but I know some of you guys want AMG stamped stuff.

why the hell would you compare it at dealer markup price. pick up the phone and call EVOsport or call which ever, i'm sure these rims are around $1400-1600 for a brand new set w/o tires. with the price you want, they might as well buy a brand new set and new tires.

"good luck" selling...

I guess I should cut you some slack in that it is Monday morning. But if you add the tires which for some reason you chose to leave out, you would realize that $675-$700 is exactly what you would pay for a discounted wheel and tire from EVO depending on the actual tire and any shipping and or taxes, I even pointed that out in my post , in any case certainly more than the $500 I am asking. But thank you for pointing out how much more it would cost to buy one from a discounter.

Think before you post.

The last set (in similar condition) posted on this forum was sold for ~$1700.

$500 asking is more than fair. If any of you were selling something of value you would appreciate a little objectivity.

These pics were posted for someone who was actually in need of a wheel. I am sure he is capable of taking care of himself.

I was just stating a fact that the last set sold for ~$1700 and its something you should keep in mind. I dont see how that is not objective?

It's a good data point but that doesn't mean another set will sell for the same price. Condition plays a roll and 05C55's look flawless. Did the other set include tires (you did not say). There is usually a range of pricing for the same parts and a lot depends on the sellers situation also. Just MO.

Could someone answer the following question:
I calculated the difference between the stock front and rear rolling circumference and there is an 8.5mm difference. Could I use a front wheel/tire combo on the rear (as a spare) with:

a) circumference difference of 8.5mm.
and,
b) wheel offset difference (30mm front, 34mm rear).

Question brought out to separate thread with more detail.

Rgds,
Norm

I bought my set from a forum member for $1,500 including tires. They were driven home from the dealership and swapped out, so basically brand new. Most others seem to be asking ~$2,000 for the used set so you're not out of line asking $500 each. Good luck with your sale.

Im just trying to provide some reference info. Sure, different sets are not going to sell for the same price (it can be higher or lower) but as I mentioned before a "similar condition" set with tires sold for lower than what he is asking.

If they sell they sell. Maybe if someone who is actually interested makes an offer we'll do some business. In the meantime, I did not start this thread to argue price and it has been posted in the classifieds and most of the correspondence has been kept to PM's with the exception of the pics.

Wheels for sale

Where are you located?
Will it fit or rub on a C43 or C36?
What are the tire sizes?

The only people commenting on their lack of value are the ones who have no interest in them. Just like your C32 is only worth 15K. It must be true cause its on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6334

eBay is for lowballers.
Your rims are worth $2000 each and that's a fine asking price.

that's the "starting" bid my friend. I'm not so sure you know how ebay works now. just save us the hassle and put your rims on eBay w/ the reserve of $2000 w/ the title used.

btw, they do fit on the C36 or the C43.
