C32 AMG Radio Controlled Car

Check this out, there is an actual C32 AMG Radio Controlled car... it has every little detail on it aswell, even the double tailpipes. This is just the body though, I think it fits on any of the HPI R/C cars though.

They also have an S55 and CLK-DTM body, scroll down the page a little bit to find it.

I guess the bodies come clear and you can paint them any color you want and apply the decals.

That wing has got to go...

Well, you have to buy a kit, build it, then buy all sorts of electronics and whatnot... I just called TowerHobbies.com and priced it all out, more than a grand for all top of the line stuff.

They are not that expensive

I have several of them and they come out to about 400 with everything you need. The body is interchangeable so you can get any body and put it on any fitting chassis. I have two chassis's. one is a MB AWD 190 AMG, the other is a FWD Volvo 850. Im gonna get that body and paint it silver, leave the wing off and it should look very close to my actual car. That body is only about $30. They are great fun. I go with electric instead of gas simply because they are less expensive and less maintenance. Tamiya is one of the larger companies that do that stuff and they actually have a web site for you to look at some of the products.

Okay, well I went all out and bought the best of everything, every possible upgrade, best radio, etc. Total came to a whopping 1500. I wouldn't have done this, but I found out there is this hobby shop near me that has a track and they race there on Sundays, pretty cool. I went there yesterday and they helped me with everything. The best car is the HPI Pro3, thats what I got. I also got an Airtronics M8 Radio. The C32 body is on order though, so it won't be here until next week. He also told me that the HPI C32 AMG body does NOT come with a wing! All those pictures you see online are custom made wings.

Is this gas or battery

Gas are typically more expensive than battery but you have as much fun with either. I got the whole thing with a Magna remote for about $550. Took me about 10 hours to put together the first one and the next ones only took me about 5 hrs each. Once you get the hang of it they are very easy to do and the kits are very complete. They often give you options of ways to build the car depending upon what type of dynamics you want the car to have. Good luck with building... post pics when you finish.

I still have a Fox and an RC-10 from the days of old. They are still in great shape- I have the Futaba Magnum control. Do you think these frames will fit on my cars? I have street tires on the RC-10 and I replaced the chain with a belt to make it lighter... Any input would be great.

Fast Cars!
i have that c32 body on my hpi nitro rs4, it looks awsome. and yes these gas rc cars get very expensive but mine is pretty fast it tops out at 72.3 Mph. they are pretty cool i already spent over a grand on everything i have so far. and by the way the bodys are like 22 bucks and u just have to cut them, paint them, and put the decals on.

72 mph!

Wow... thats very fast. My cars only go about 35mph and I thought that was fast. If that thing hits something at that speed Im afraid its all over. I have hit things and although some minor adjustments are necessary, the car is still in tact. I couldnt imagine hitting something at over 50mph. Must be very cool though to see your little RC dust off some cars on the road!

yes it feels very very fast once it hits that speed and it sounds amazing really loud. luckly i never hit anything at that speed (yet) i hope it stays that way. but i have hit a cupple things a little slower and needed to replace alot of parts and as u know there not cheap. i never usually crash but once it hits the top speed it is very hard to control. sometimes even if i hit a small bump it will flip over and slide for about 35 - 40 feet.

and i killed a 99 mustang GT with it from 0-45mph my friend was holding the radar that how i know the speed. but that driver just felt stuipid knowing a rc car can beat him :p

I was board and i decided to read this thread again and i saw that u said that the C32 bodies dont come with wings but thats wrong. I just got my seconed Hpi C32 body today because my other cracked and it came with a wing and so did my first one. i did not put it on my new one but it was on my old one. Who ever told u they did not come with the wings is wrong since i have it to tell, and ALL Hpi car bodies come with wings smilar to those. Maybe he just ment that u dont need to put it on if u dont want to, or he did not know anything.
