So which C32 should I buy?
1) $33K, 27K miles 12/2001 build date, small dealer
2) $31K, 44K miles,4/2002 build date, command/nav & rear sunshade, regular servicing (via Carfax), big dealer.
3) $30K, 42K miles,2/2002 build date, rear sunshade, ex lease car, big dealer
I started off focusing on (1), I really want nav but can't stretch the extra $1.5k-$2K that it will cost so (2) is now looking attractive.
I drive ~6K miles a year so all of the original MB warranties will last me about a year.
Which would you choose as my head is about to explode

And, you should always get the newer one, which is 2002. Even it is 4 months different, but the resell price depends on the YEAR OF MANNFACTURE. ( at least this is true in H.K. ).
So No.2 is the right choice. Have I missed anything here? Why need to scratching yoru head?

I'd take #2.
In my case, I don't use rear sunshade that much, but I love the navi. It helped me out tremendously in an unfamiliar part of town. It looks cool too. But that's just me. It might be diff in ur case.
I'd contact your local MB to further investigate these 3 cars.. they have a way to do it based on their VIN #s.

I would take the one with longer warranty period and forget the past records as long as the car dont look a mess to you.
We're not talking about swapping the headligts, but it would involve wiring, replacing the interior switch etc etc. I was quoted $7,000 to install bi-xenon (parts + labor) on a halogen-based C32. I'm not about to spend 7K on headlights, so I ended up buying C32 that already has xenon. And yes, I so want bi-xenons right now.

Your car needs to be switched to xenon present, its nothing, they do it through the ECU..
Don't got through the dealer..order from steve K (europe) and take the lights to a certified BNZ mechanic and have them swap it.
