Now why a C55 WAGON? Never got the point where people would acquire a C240 WAGON. And now the E55 Wagon???!! I mean come on, but I guess everyone has their likes and dislikes..

Great choice. Too bad we don't have the C55 Touring option here in the USA. Though the S4 Avant & V70R are both nice cars. How long until your car is ready, a month?

There is a small market for such cars (e.g. BMW 540 and M5 Touring). It's a business case they either can justify or not. Some people want a wagon and want it to be high-performance.

I think the wagons are much more popular in Europe than here anyways. The wagon market is just starting to take off as people ditch the absurdly huge SUVs for various reasons.

I probably would have ended up with an Audi RS6 instead of the C32 if they had sold the wagon version stateside -- I thought it looked a lot better. I wonder what their sales are on the S4 Avant versus the S4 Sedan and Cabriolet in the US. It seems pretty equal here.

Congrats!. I really like the touring versions of the C-class. I can't wait to see one in person here. They really look the business.

I dind't test the saloon, because I wanted a wagon. Here there is the possibility to get rid of the speed limiter and to get the upgrade for a compressor (after market) then it is the same engine as in e.g. the CL 55 AMG with 500hp. I will take this decision after a couple of months. I'm living close to German border and we don;t have speed limits overthere. (oops 320KM/h) 200 miles/houre with the compressor on the C55

The MB dealer called me last week that the production has been delayed till the 24th of may. ****t. Because of the designo color, but he told me that i they can deliver the car to me at the factory in Bremen Germany with a visit to the factory. I will keep you folks posted, as soon as i have my car i will attach the pictures.

2002 C32 Black/Charcoal
I have a C240 wagon right now as a MBSD loaner car, and I really like it, except for the lack of power. That C55 touring should be awesome. The only roughly comparable car available here in the U.S. which comes to mind is the Dodge Magnum Wagon with the hemi motor.

I think that you will be very happy with your choice.

I would definitely buy a C55 Touring Wagon. They look awesome! And because Amercians hate wagons so much, there aren't that many around... more the reason I would want one ! Exclusivity and AMG power !
