Looking for C43 Ergonomic-seat exploded view

I'm looking for an exploded view of the driver's seat - specifically who to remove the backing plate to the backrest portion. The left side air bladder keeps wiggling itself out of position and payingg the dealer to fix it every month or so is getting old....

Any ideas where I can obtain such a diagram?

Thanks in advance...

Ask The Parts Department For A Exploded View Picture. The Backrest Should Come Off With Either 2 Torx Or Philips Screws At The Bottom. Put Zip Ties On The Ribber Connectors To Secure Them Better.

The two screws at the bottom of the back of your seat are phillips-head screws. The removal of this plate will allow you to access the hoses and some bladders, but not the side bladders.

I often have a problem with the side bladders coming out and getting stuck in the seat frame. These are not so simple to fix.

Good luck. I'll let you know if I see any diagrams of the seat.

Do the side bladders make a big difference? I can't tell, and therefore am pretty sure that my are not working and haven't since I owned the car. Worth getting repaired?

Jeff, As Jon R explained - you don't need no stinkin' picture. It's cake, remove the two phillips head screws and slide down. Once off, I'm sure you'll see what looks like a spaghetti junction. Most assuredly there will be one staring at you in the face - I have fixed mine twice. It ain't gonna stay unless you put a tie wrap on it - it's gonna be easiest fix you've ever performed on your car. I can bet it's what your problem is. The side bladders are nice - it's like a big hand grabbing you on the sides.

Don't have a Mercedes right now...
That's great feedback thanks. I will check on mine today or tomorrow.

The electronic adjustment on the drivers seat tilts to the front but I have to try a lot of times to get it to tilt back. Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Also, the backlight on the A/C display doesn't come up when I turn the lights on. Does anyone know what might be wrong, what things to check?

Thanks!

I wish I could help you...I have neither of those problems.

Also, and just a suggestion so you might get your questions answered.. Post as a new thread - someone might see that problem and post a solution versus the original topic.

I have the inflatable bladders on by G-500 (driver side, that is) The fully inflated bladders to make a difference, but not a dramatic difference. I use them mostly for the extra thigh support.
