98 C-43 Service Manual
So who won the 45 page service manual on ebay on sunday 1/29/06? i'd really like to know if there's any useful info in there and i'd also be willing to scan the manual, create PDF files of each page, and post them so everyone on the board can benefit from the info in the manual. Please let me know if you're interested.

does it have any useful info on service like any specs and or good service pictures? If so I'd be willing to pay for shipping to borrow the book and create PDFs of each page so that the whole board can benefit from the info, let me know.

thanks, Denlasoul, they have it. has anyone else ever checked this out? does it have specific C43 data in it or is it general mercedes info?

98 C-43 Service Manual
The scanning is a good idea. I recently purchased a 1998 C43 AMG and had to order the manual and service book from Books4cars.com. Cost a bit but worth it as I intend to keep the car for a long time.
By way of introduction, I am an Australian living in Hong Kong and just purchased a fully optioned C43 with only 26k miles on the clock (one of the advantages of living in small country). The car has a full service history from Mercedes Benz Hong Kong. The only manual I cannot seem to locate is the instructions for the sound system - can anyone help here ??
The car is silver with 18" AMG rims and Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres.

C43 Owners Manual
No - I looked after I got the Owners Manual from books4cars .com. I think when the car was delivered new there was a separate book for the sound system. Think I'll try books4 cars again 'cept they charge me about US$15.00 for postage to Hong Kong everytime I order a book !!!
