Looking to buy c36, anything to lookout for?
I'm looking for a 1995 C36...I can't consider anything newer or a C43 because something I'm planning will be too difficult past the 95 C36. That being said, anything I should lookout for? I know the 43s have Tranny issues, does that plague the 36s as well? Anything else I should be aware of?

Not sure of what to look out for, but I did receive an e-mail a few weeks ago from the person who bought J Irwins old C36. He's trying to sell it. It has to be one of the cleanest C36's I've ever seen. It includes all service records as well.
You may be able to find him on these forums if he hasn't already sold it.

744 C36 AMG,040 C43 AMG, CLK55 208, CLS55 IWC, CLK500 Rocketbunny widebody
1997 C36 are faster than the 95 and 96 due to a 5spd tranny.
1995-1996 have 4spd tranny that is rock solid.
Watch out for bad head gaskets, and wire harness.
thats about it, w202 is a reliable car
