New guy needs help

Ok so I am gonna be picking up a 95 c36 here in the near future. I dont know where to go online to find aftermarket parts(i.e. suspension stuff, ECU, etc). I am also looking to find out what parts will give me some decent power increases. Suspension will most likely be the first area I address. Thanks for the help guys.

So after some searching it seems like the car is pretty good as is. Sounds like some H&R's or Vogtlands w/ #4 pads works pretty well with the stock wheels. Do I need to replace the factory AMG/Bilstein shocks to run those springs?

Thanks Ok so I am set on getting some H&R springs and running #4 pads. Might get a new ECU if someone tells me it it actually worth it. Possibly some new rotors and brake pads too.

I am going to look at the c36 tomorrow, anything I should look out for? I has 121k btw.

There are some inexpensive (from $300 to $900) ECU tuners that claim amazing results. Then the are the real Benz tuners (RENNtech, Kleeman) who charge an arm and a leg and claim much more conservative results. It might be worth testing one of the low priced options. Worst case you're out a couple hundred bucks.
If you are a tinkerer it may be worth buying a spring compressor so you can test different setups. I went through many combos before settling on what I now run. Having to pay someone for the labor would have been huge.

Not much of a tinkerer but I do have a buddy that work at a alignment shop, so that comes in handy. Its just seems like most people are pretty happy with their stock 17" wheels, H&R spring and #4 pads.
