$1,100.00 a year - full coverage - off street parking - no more than 5k miles per year.NJ has the highest insurance rates in the nation - bar none. P.S. haven't had a ticket in 17 years.

.....that is with a multi-car discount (3) and my home...same company.

none
$1860- 98' C43

$750- 00' Explorer

Multi car discount. 24 years old. C43 garage kept. Non-work use. 5-10k driven yearly. Explorer has liability and peanuts for collision as the car isn't worth much.

At the end of this month I am going to switch the C43 to have "storage coverage". I never new my insurance could do this until now. It's something like $200 or less for the year. Basically I will tell them when the door is closed for the year and they will cut me a check for the differnce in $1860/$200 for the year. The car will then be covered for non-road use, ie. fire, theft, vandalism, etc...

I pay 878 every 6 months for 2 cars, with the C43 stacking up to 664 of the total bill..

I have full coverage, 500 deductable for comp & collision. 100k/300k limits.. I thought the deal was pretty sweet.. =)

What good do $ numbers do if you don't reveal where you are located? One can be in LA or NY or in BFE and the numbers for the same type of coverage will vary.

You guys must live in expensive states. I pay less than what you guys state for the C43 for 4 cars. 3 of them have close to or over 300 hp. Must be lucky living in the middle of nowhere.

Mine's about $670. I'll be 25 in two months, so that should take my rates down even further.

Funny though, the C43 is cheaper to insure than my little GTI. I have a clean record.
