Coilpacks sit atop your valvecovers, there will be four on each side with two high tension leads out of each coilpack. Each of these leads will have a metal housing at each end that fits over each individual spark plug.

The flex disk is basically a rubber coupler at the ends of the drive shaft. It can be a pain in the rear to replace. Had to replace the front one on my 190.

I'm not sure what a flex disk is, but I do know what a BMW guibo is...which is what was described by SDR - a rubber donut w/holes for the driveshaft/propeller shaft flanges. Yes, a pain...but not too bad to replace. I replaced the guibo on my old 325es Look for large cracks, and or symptoms akin to when you have a bad universal u-joint. I need to inspect mine, in fact...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flywheel

The flywheel attaches to the end of the crankshaft.

That's a good item to replace to avoid problems - the flywheel is located on the opposite side of that bell housing (contained within) where that CPS fits in. It's basically a large wheel with a gear ring on its periphery, it's attached at the end of your crankshaft. The starter engages the gears, thus spinning your crankshaft to start your engine.
