finally getting my hobby back.......
hey wats goin on guys........so my tranny basically ground up itself about 3 months aago and at the time i left for greece so i left the car in the shop..... i just recently came back and my mechanic just called me to tell me that my car is ready and running fresh.....can't wait to pick it up on sunday and see how it drives with the new tranny and torque converter rebuild.......

Let us know how it runs and what it ended up costing to rebuild the tranny. Every time mine shifts funny, I can feel my heart skip a little.

just pick up my car back today and i m really excited about it .....it drives really nice and smooth better than what i thought it would've.....i havnt really tested its limits beacause i want to break it in first but i m really happy with it

megan's auto works......its a small shop i m really good friends with the mechanic and he has 37 yrs of experience on mercedes.....thats all he works on. h put a brand new tranny and rebuild the torque converter..... and it has 1 yr unlimited miles warranty....everything came out to $4800 encluding labor and parts....

Usually, yes, when transmission needs a rebuild or transmission is busted, normally transmission will have a lot of metal shavings, you want to fix it right while you have the transmission out.
