Ted, we are friends now. The 202 world needs more people like you that aren't affraid to tear things apart for the better. Wanna look into having some long tubes fabbed up ala VRP?? I'm checking now to see if his M113 kompressor cams will fit in the lower compression ratio M113's..I'm gonna drive you crazy now bud

Lastly, anyone know where the hell this 11.54 C55 is now?? It must have found a nice home somewhere

That's pretty . You're going to need more than a delimiter to do that. lol Sounds pretty amazing though.

Nope. That's a little too aggressive for my sound especially here in cali.

Yep! That's the prototype that inspired me to drop the 5.5L motor in my car Chap. Wow I also never knew Donnie worked for Rich.

Garage Temporarily Empty
Wouldn't a posi rear end be more effective than a limited slip differential?
Not that I know anyone who makes a posi for MB.......

Posi is as close to 50/50 as one could get besides a locking diff.....

There must be LSD's standard in certain MB's, right (like the CLK BLACK)?

AMG C43, 1999
The biggest advantage that the LSD gives you is when coming through or off a corner. With the LSD and smooth application of the throttle you get the inside and outside rear wheels to continue to bit and drive the car forward off the corner.

When I run my C43 at the racetracks at NASA Group 4 I get to run with all sorts of cars and my favorites are the Mustangs that are out there. The Mustang car owner ego just cannot take the fact of being passed by a 4 door Mercedes. But it is also fun to go and out run Honda S2000's and Nissin 350Z's and asorted other nice cars.

The C43 chassis make a great daily driven car and a really great track day car with some minor mod's. The LSD diff and a good sticky set of 275/40/17 rear tires and 255/40/17 front tires helps a ton also.
