Damn sorry to hear that man, your C43 is one hell of a car, still remember the ride I got in it at the newport meet. It'll prolly be better if you do part it out though, would be very hard to sell it for a decent price as a whole.

Why don't you simply post a price on your car as it sits right now - I'm sure someone would be interested

the difference between 11 and 16
$13500 put it on craigslist, auto trader for $15000 and hope to get the $13,500
cash.
Parting it out going to net you that much or more.Lots of great plans go into part outs and you are sitting with a non functional shell and people trying to pick your bones clean.
do you have the oem rims?
Good luck
my vote is with StapleGun set a price and move on.Before August and the market dips more and a 98 sinks deeper.

look, i paid 12.5k for my car with 78600 miles. he SHOULD part it because the wheels are awesome, and the S/C kit is costly as well... 13.5 without the wheels and S/C i say

Alright, I can't even look at the car sitting anymore and costing me $. Just received the 5th monolite today as a replacement and spare and it appears that my current set (with the curbed wheel) is a newer design. The newer version which I have has slightly different spokes at the rim edge, "renntech" and "forged" are also stamped onto the newer design. The older monolites are also silver centers compared to the newer silver/machined finish. I'll never get around to it so whomever buys this car will probably want to send the front wheel to champion motorsports in FL. They quoted me $225.00 for the repair. The wheel is ok to use, it's just hard to look at and should be repaired. The others are fine and I will try to sell the older monolite style to someone who has a set.

I do think that 13.5 is a little on the low side, and for those that have seen the car I'm sure they would agree. I'd take 15k this afternoon if someone were here, plus some booze You will not find a W202 in this shape with this level of stuff done to it anywhere. It would cost over 20K easily to build this car from another C43.

Anyone local that is interested give me a call at 603-785-2078 I'd like to sell it local as it would be easier for both parties. It's also better in person, driving it, hearing it, etc..If no interest locally I'll send it anywhere.

...Also, the parting out thing would take too much time at this point and I wish I could do it. Here is a list off the top of my head in terms of mods and such.

*HPS magnacharged MP90 supercharger Gen 1
*H&R springs/Bilsteins
*Custom 3in Mandrel Bend exhaust w/ magnaflow muffler, all stainless
*Metal Cat high flow stainless cats
*Custom matched silver interior trim and AMG shift knob
*Boost, IAT, and fuel pressure gauges in carbon fiber
*JVC head unit with 3.5in screen which plays DVD's or anything else
*custom lower engine tray with aluminum pressed louvers for cooling
*Renntech monolites w/ bridgestone pole position rubber 18x8.5/9.5
*ML55 AMG engine cover
*Magnacore race wires
*Crankcase vacuum system isolated from intake charge.
*90% finished intake manifold port and polish (not installed)
*Phelonic spacers for intake(not installed)
*Vortech super FMU adjustable (not installed)
*Stainless brake lines (not installed)

New parts
*Brand new AMG floormats
*New brakes w/ powdercoated calipers, break in surface still on pads/rotors
*Stainless brake lines (not installed yet)
*Wheel barings
*Motor Mounts

...for now thats what I remember and have all receipts, work, and stuff in a folder.

All fluids flushed and filled a couple times in the past 2 years. Wheel wells and undercar cleaned and detailed for rust, tar, etc.. every 6 months. Stripped, clayed, and waxed every 6 months also including inner wheel barrels. Car has never seen snow and rarely rain. Always garaged.

would you please quote me a price for all the not installed stuff including the intake manifold? or without it?

i would think you'd be willing to sell the stuff seperately that isn't even on the car right?

Oh crap! end of an era... bummer I never got to ride in the real big-dog of a C43 on the North East. Best'a luck.

I really should sell mine too, and put the money into the MINI Factory JCW that will be delivered in a few weeks. ...drive it like I stole it and still get 25mpg... drive easy for an easy 30+ mpg. I'd have even more trouble re-couping my investment $$$ is my belief.

Oh man, Wes, sorry to hear about your injury! And sorry to see you selling. I remember sitting in your car at Newport a couple of years ago. You had the car lowered, but no engine mods yet as I recall.

If I had the funds, I'd buy that car in a heartbeat. Definitely try to sell it whole. Good luck with the sale! And drop by amgpower and say "Hello!"

Awesome pics, I remember being in love with your CLK55. The 43 was so innocent back then too I think I started taking the car apart the next weekend. Our last gathering which I think you missed had us getting kicked out due to something about people spinning tires and some noise...not supercharger noise though...

I wish I could kill this thread as I've now turned away(unproffesionally) two buyers over here and ended up selling my 08' Ford Focus instead. When the money actually appeared the reality hit and I followed my gut. I'm taking it to the grave. Selling my Focus probalby wasn't the smartest move but it took care of what I needed and I can always replace that in a heartbeat. I feel like I cryed wolf over this car sale. In the end I straight up wimped out and couldn't do it. So to all who replied thanks for the words...and I'm still here, the 202 survived the crisis.

...it was close. Very close. I just love this ride way too much. So much that my bent monolite showed up yesterday repaired perfectly from Champion Motorsports The luck is turning around....

Now I feel like I need to mod something else on the car already
