my interior, widebody and some show coverage of friend's stuff

went to the "perfect 10" show this weekend. Know all the guys with the BMWs in these pictures and those who follow my posts will definitely pick out the A4 I welded custom metal fenders on last winter (it's matte green for those who haven't yet seen it). You will also see a couple shots of my own car some showing things i have never really posted pictures of...

let me know what you think- particularly about the widebody car and my own.

also, to avoid flaming a bit keep in mind that both my car and the A4 have more than the necessary performance modifications to go along with the other more show inspired stuff and that both cars are often driven on the street (the a4 is actually his only ride!).

also ran into a clk63 on a city street (40 mph zone) and surprised the heck out of him staying near his bumper leaving a couple of lights. Sadly the attractive lady in her 30s in that last picture wasn't interested in playing around (so to speak)

those pictures are a real random and limited sample of what i've got, the rest are here-

honestly, i'm not one of the rich guys on here. I make about $25 an hr as a lab technologist. I also make a bit of money working on cars for people throughout the year, but nothing really significant. My degree is in Biology.

I've been working on cars (interior/stereo, custom body, custom air suspension and normal suspension, engine work etc., everything but major painting) virtually full time since i got hooked on the stuff at about 19. It's amazing how much cheaper things are when you just do them yourself/make them yourself.

my best advice for you is to buy a car that you can easily afford to cut up and modify the heck out of while also doing an excellent job in school and setting yourself up for a better job than mine.

ya- if you poke around there in photobucket there are a ton of other pics of both cars.

I don't know how to get better images in that kind of lighting without a tripod. Photography is a challenge for me.

If you scroll down in this forum to threads titled- "new camera" and "those underhood shots" you will also find a bunch of recent pictures of my car.

if you want a more serious peice of advice. waiting tables is a sure fire way for a young person to make good cash, thats why most young female college students wait tables, it pays the bills and then some.

id also recommend trying to get a job at a country club. try valet'ing cars or even bagboy. whenever my IT business has a couple days of quiet time i call my friend who manages valet at a local country club. i get to drive all kinds of cars and make 200 dollars in tips in 6-8 hours plus 7.50 an hour wage lol... ive gotten alot of IT clientel from the club too so i keep goin back to test my luck for more. usually the spring and fall are the best times to do that sort of job, old guys like to golf in fair weather and tip well after a relaxing golf outing.

With low/bad lighting and no tripod, try leaning against something while snapping the photo. Also, if you reduce the size of a poor quality photo, it will look better. For example, even though there is less detail, I think this looks better than the original:

And I think this looks even clearer, but the detail suffers a bit too much:

thats pretty clever. so do you just leave it on 72F/auto and let the auto climate control take charge or are you constantly poking around in your glovebox...
