I'd say pricing on the 1st is pretty reasonable given the mileage. Generally speaking nobody is selling off their clean sub-100k C43 for less than 10k (they certainly don't have to in terms of the market at least) if that is what you are hoping for. If this is not the "right deal" I would suggest looking for a pre-00, as they will always be commanding slightly higher values than our '99 and '98's. Actually now that I think of it, there was a desperation sale about 8-10 months ago that went as low as 9k for an (if I remember correctly) 80k-ish mile black C43. The dude "needed" to get into a truck....wonder how that is working now I doubt you will find a deal like that anytime soon on a 2000 model however, and in my experience w/ this car, absolutely hold out for the nicest, most well-taken care of car that you can possibly afford regardless of build date. It will pay off in a matter of weeks in terms of maintenance. This car is an absolute electrical nightmare.....

c43's arent TOO bad electrically. my friend has a e46 m3 and it does all kinds of weird things constantly. the tire pressure monitor is constantly on despite good tire conditions, the windows sometimes wont go up or down in one touch but then goes away after he restarts the car, the other day he had a problem with the passenger door not unlocking when using the keyless entry... i wouldnt say its a nightmare, but definitely not behavior you would expect out of a "fine" german automobile

^^ I would agree.....I normally have several months of care-free driving between problems. Membership on this forum goes a long way towards dealing w/ it's problems anyways....

That's my b-day too

Oh yeah, that is WAY high on asking price for the white '00. Maybe someone out there is a big enough sucker, but I doubt it in this market

Looks great, rare year and color, but too high.

I'd honestly rather buy a W210 E55 for that price.

well the white one is the 2k, the silver one was a 99. so he was talking about a rare year, and white is a rare color. same rareness as red.

in terms of manufacture numbers, black and silver get the most. obsidian black is next, then the white red and blue are the rarest. period.

What about that metallic copper color, or the lime green? Presumably they were euro only, but I bet those are the rarest

2000 burgundy is the rarest one, there's only one

there are six in white so that's extremely rare to, I heard there were 5 designo green in usa, I saw two on internet, theres one on youtube

I saw one red c43 in the pictures from this meet way back in sacramento and one is for sale on autotrader now

I wonder where that burgundy one is
