Difference Between C280 Suspension and C43?

beyond the factory settings, are the parts interchangeable, for instance if i wanted to put a coilover kit from a 99 C280 would it be a direct bolt on to the C43 etc? if not why? I am considering buying one of these cars i just want to know my options before i pull the trigger, thanks!

If you are considering buying a used C280,then investing money in mods,IMHO I would go the extra $ and purchase a used C43.You can find used C43'S in the 8k-12k range depending upon condition.Good luck with whatever you decide to purchase.

Depending on the math they did at KW, spring rates might not be ideal, but I believe everything will bolt up if it is for a W202 C280. Look around for SpeedyBenz suspension
