I'd bet money you could fit standard W202 seats into your C36. The mounting points in the chassis are identical, they wouldn't change them for the C36. Not to mention you'd probably get other W202 owners lining up to trade for your sport seats.

Now we talking.
do anyone know if c36 track/rail is bolted to seat or welded?
if welded chances of succeed by quick swapping are slim, bolted give more options ..I think

le chofeur butaque to le passange e vicerverse

Odds are very good it's bolted so the different seat styles could share a common base/track and for replacement purposes. It's easy enough to check, there's only two bolts front and two bolts rear to remove the seat.

The seat is bolted to the cage/track. The cage/track is bolted to the floor. The cage/track part numbers for the W202 are 2029104385 or 2029109185 for the left, and 2029106485 or 2029109285 for the right. Those part numbers include the motors. 2029109785 and 2029109685 are sans motors. However, this doesn't answer the question as to whether the left seat can be bolted to the right cage, and whether the right seat can be bolted to the left cage.

not really, as stated before avatar is not me; the fact is interior is so pristine including driver seat...but 100k tell the tale so I'll like to drive in the pass. seat (not literally) to even up wear and still wonder if someone know how challenging this can be for a guy with "walmart" tools and no welding capabilities/desire..seat belt attachment will not be a problem (I think) since a new hole drilled down there will not be visible..any ideas?..beside reconstructive surgery LOL

Regarding the wiring part their shouldn't be a problem. It's the same on both sides. The tricky part might be the belt attachment. I woludent rekomend drilling a new hole. Not when it involves saftey stuff.
