'93 300CE
crashed my car/ now it's for sale
crashed it last nite in the rain in san jose. right front impacted the cement barrier. airbag deployed.
no apparent engine or tranny damage. runs and shifts ok. not in the mood to post pic's or discuss what happened, at least for a few days.
i'm not even going to try to repair, just going to get a new car. it's parked at my house so anyone who wants to come see, no problem.
lot of recent repairs including brakes w/new rotors, new tires and recently redone wheels w/polished lips. the car is white over twotone.
anyone interested in buying call me at 831 588 9502. i'm in santa cruz ca. i just want this car gone. no reasonable offer refused. someone with the ability could part this car out and make a few bucks.
ps: i'll email pic's to anyone interested. please don't waste my time if your just curious, i'll post to the board after i get over the trauma of losing my car to a bimbo on a cell phone.

yeah, I'm confused? why not go through insurance and get it fixed? and if it's totalled don't you have to go through that process and buy it back prior to selling?
or do you own it outright and want to sell it to someone to possibly part it out?
how much damage is there?

sorry for any confusion. i'm still rattled from the crash. the car is a '98 c43, 172,000, white over 2 tone, all options.
the entire car is for sale. i own it outright, clean title in hand. reg is good thru 9/09.
very possible the car could be repaired. starts,shifts, brakes. appears to be sheetmetal damage only.
i'm no expert so potential buyers should come see. also have an extra set of oem wheels and a oem car cover that i'll throw in.

i'm not going to part it out. no room or ability. i will sell the entire car cheap to get it out of my driveway. someone else will have to part it out.

sorry to hear about the crash. lots of accident last two days.. heavy rains and all. there were two on i80 between richmond and emeryville, rear ends.. and the ones doing the rear ending always have major damage..

marcus, just read your signal to noise page. lot's of good stuff there.
if you know anyone in the bay area please have them come inspect. this car could be saved in the right hands. could also produce some profit from parting out. i'll entertain all offers.
if it doesn't sell to a forum member in a couple of weeks it will go on craigslist and/or ebay. if that doesn't work then the scrap heap is the final destination. would be a sad ending for a terrific car. lot's of usable parts to be had, including a very good twotone interior.

i don't have a set price in mind. i want it gone so i'll accept any reasonable offer. i believe there's enough room in this car so i'll get something and the buyer will also.
i don't want to junk it but will if i doesn't sell. i'm sick about the loss and looking at it every day just makes me sad. must be someone out there who could part it out and make a few bucks. or repair it and drive it.
