intrax springs???

Does anyone have intrax lowering springs on their c36? Just wondering if these are any good. There doesnt seem to be a listing for their performance anywhere. How much do they lower?? are they close to h&r??? What spring do you guys think i should go with???

I would go with H&R or Eibach. You got an AMG car, no sense in going with products that may not be up to par with some of the well known companies. I'd check out more into Intrax first before making a sound judgement.

there are so many choices out there that if I couldn't find enough info from one I would move on to another.

What kind of drop and firmness are you looking for ?

Intrax isn't too bad of spring. Not as good as H&R and the like but nonetheless not bad. I called Intrax when I was trying to decide what springs to go with. They said Theirs will lower the car 1.8 inches all the way around and be 30% stiffer than stock. It just depends on how low you want it and how stiff you want it. hehe.

So intrax springs seem to be the best for lowering, they are more expensive than H&R but lower 1.8" vs. the H&R 1.25"??? I am looking for the lowest drop with the best in performance. Do you guys know who sells the Intrax springs for C36, I am having problems finding a distributor.

Most expensive? That's about the cheapest out there. Call Intrax and ask for a distributer. I didn't say it was the best for lowering. Just the stiffer spring with more drastic lowering. You will lose more comfort though.

Doug:

I was agreeing that a stiffer spring and lower drop will loose comfort in the ride.

Joboo:

Intrax springs have ISO 9001 standardization, meaning that the quality is really good. Since their springs are progressive, you will get "high-performance looks and comfortable ride quality." -- from Eurotuner

I would think it is a good alternative to the major spring companies.

DLS

Enzo, my Benzo
I have intrax springs on my 124 300 and the aesthetics of the springs are fantstic in terms of how low they drop the car. The performance is very good as well, Stif but not ridiculous. i would confidently recommend the springs fore performance and looks. The rest is up to you, just my $0.02

haters crazy
I also have intrax springs matched with bilstein sport shocks on my w124 and I would definitely recommend them. They lower more than the rest and they aren't too hash. I was skeptical before I bought my springs as well but I'm happy with intrax.
