Pics of blown motor

I snapped these today with my phone. I wasn't really dressed for it and couldn't get underneath the car very well. These pics show the upper rear oil pan area right above the frame cross member and steering dampener. There was also a hole on the upper drivers side of the oil pan. You can see the snapped con rod in these pics, there could be more in there too. I'll know once the motor gets yanked.

Thanks, I could have used the luck last week though.

I'm pretty sure it was hydrolocked and blew. I had a file that I had recently updated for the meth/H20 maps. During that I made the mistake of not re-entering the values for every point including the solinoid. So when I saved the one input I changed some of the others went back to default. I think the solinoid setup in this case was the culprit opening and closing at all different times. Which gives me reason to believe it filled up the cylinder when I left the car idling at the gas station. It literally blew the second I put my foot to it.

C43AMG: I am currently heading that direction, just waiting for the right 55 and pulling the current motor.

i blew my m104 c280 running to lean under boost,
nothing to that level tho, i beleive you would have to had sucked in serious amount of water to hydrolic it to that level,
ive seen friends hydrolic cars from sucking in water and all they have done is bent rods, nothing like that!
ul get it fixed in the end tho!

Sorry for your loss..
This is exactly what happens to frankenstein cars.. That's why I never mod them.. Sucks for you, hopefully you learned a lesson of not fking with your engine. Stock is the way to go. At least you got less chance of f up.
Take care

Hey thanks for the lesson and sympathy bud. Running stock really helped your chances as well... totalled isn't it? Fact is my car will be back on the road in two months and faster than it ever was. Accidents happen, and that is exactly what caused mine. My system was running perfect, it was user error that caused my explosion, not a failed system. Have fun car shopping

Ignore those who wallow in the ignorance of their naysayer mentality.
They usually don't have the attitude. aptitude, or ability to be challenged.
Typically they lack monetary resources...
"Simple" minds do "simple" things and fail to experience life...

If it breaks just fix it...Good Luck !!!

Not my driving skills, someone ran red lite. My son and brother was in the car, thanks to German engineering we are all safe.

Whether you like it or not, frankenstein cars are doomed to fail sooner or later. I just have the ***** to state it right here. Many people agree with me, but they do not have to voice their opinions.

Se what happened? Blown motor? I wonder why?

It is sad. I babied my vehicle all STOCK.

Bad luck will hit you where ever you are. When you mess with your car to make it faster, quicker you raise chances for malfunction. That is not for argument, it is a fact. Just like fake ***** to look better..

Look at Michael Jackson, he modified himself pretty good eh?
Where is he now?

You must know me...thanks for the compliment...

I've been modding cars for over forty years and don't regret a thing...
I enjoy the results and can afford it...

You really don't have a clue.

None of my cars every came apart but yet your stock car is now junk...

Must be Kharma...

Junk because of careless driver that got a ticket for running a red light. You sound like my car is junk because it is stock???
I don't have a clue, and you have a lot of them?

Karma is not spelled KHARMA, unless it is your traditional family recipe's name.
40 years of modding but not much spelling.

Do you think frankenstein owners will come here and admit their car is broken cause of their mods?
Its embarrasing.

The ones who call themselves men do, it was a mistake that I learned from, creating the 3D meth/H20 files I was after was a task, and confusing too. I'd be willing to bet it would be beyond you. I'm proud that a guy like myself can go completly outside his education and achieve what I did with the car, let alone in my driveway. Not the least bit embarrased.

..but since you used that brilliant MJ analogy it does make sense where your coming from

Lastly, read through your replies in the post and please let us know how you help the board????

Sorry, but AMG is just someone else doing the modding for you. If you feel that way, why didn't you buy the C230, because by your calculations, that car will never have a problem

Granted, as you increase stress on components, their probability of failure is likely to increase once you have reached a certain point. But unless you are an engineer that has done that analysis or you have test data, you really don't know where that point is. And I have to echo Nitrogen's sentiment, why are you on a car board if you are content driving a stock car around?

OK dumb ***, let us analyze both your spelling and grammar....

Quoted from your post # 15

"Not my driving skills, someone ran red lite. My son and brother was in the car, thanks to German engineering we are all safe."

"Lite"...no, no should be "light"

"was" as in "They was"...no, no again should be "were"

What about this gem of yours from another post ?

"How bout you spesifically dont try to help me anymore"

Lousy spelling, poor grammar, lack of sentence structure...must be ebonics, because it is very poor English.

Go sell the oil you bought and never used for your c43...
That should give you a great down payment on something as boring as you...

Those who don't have a car shouldn't cast aspersions at those that are far more superior.
