I have asked before but did not recieve any replies!
I have noticed this press mark from the back door armrests on the side cushion!
I have only seen this on C43 cars not regular C-klasse!
I have it on my car!
So what's this about?
How can it be like this?

maybe you are the lucky ones guys!!
I've seen the autotrader website with many C43's and I can for shure tell you that many C43's have this pressmark on side cushion!
some of the cars have it on both sides/ others only on one side!
I have one pressmark on the rear drivers side backseat cushion!
the armrest is jammed into the cushion and leaving a pressmark well seen!
if you study the attached picture above in the previous thread the part where it's highlighted from below and going up!
you can see that the side cushion bulges out a bit!
that makes the side cushion comes closer the side of the armrest!
the other side non marked keeps it's shape better and is more slim tight, the affected area has lost it's shape and bulges out more!
it doesn't look good on a Benz like this!
lucky for me I'm not the only one having this on my car!
I guess the quality control at factory was very poor and they let cars go out without proper inspections for delivery!
but I still love this biage, even though she ain't perfect all the way

Well my car is a 98 and I still don't see this part on either side of my rear seat.
Maybe they were about to make your car a W202 C55 and the original owner chgd his mind.

as I said not every C43 has this mark!
it looks like this side cushion loses it's shape and gets bloted!
as you can see it bulges out all the way down in the highlighted area and the armrest touches it all the time, leaving a pressmark!
