Looks pretyy good. I have to admit I was kinda skeptical. What size is your wheel?

Tomorrow (Thurs), depending on the weather, I will be washing my car out here in Kirkland. Then I gotta go to Seattle to meet a friend for lunch. I will also be free on Friday.

Give me a call. Btw, the number you gave me is that a cell? I just dont want to call your house asking for "Eurosport."

Would a third black C43 ruin it? If so, take pics and post them!

Lu:

I cannot speak for Eurosport, but for the C36 and C43 AMG rolled the fenders straight from the factory. Though, many people (including myself) should roll the fenders a little more if you are running 18's or larger.

One place I know of is Car Nutz in Bellevue. They are a little pricey with their stuff, but I was quoted around $100 for fender rolling. I hear that's about average. Rolling fenders really help especially if you lower the car.

Thank you Denlasoul, I just made an appointment with Car Nuts today.

Actually, I put my wheels and suspension in Car Nuts year ago, but I don't know they do fender rolling job. Anyway, thank you so much.

i haven't rolled the fenders further than what the pre-rolled factory is. I'm running 225/40/18F (no rub) and 255/35/18 R (it rubs only at major bumps, (not speed bumps, don't have any probs with them or driveways) or people in the back, which hasn't happened i'm not a taxi ;p) haven't seen any tire wear though. Since S03's are wider than other tires that's probably why the rub. will think about rolling the back fenders a little bit, but i wanna wear the tires a little first see if i still get rub (if no then i won't roll em). i was also thinking about going one more pad # in the rear, even though i haven't even checked what pads i'm running now lol

edit i forgot to add
that i've taken some serious corners and some off ramps at high speeds and had no rub but when cruising highway or even 25mph zone and hit a big dip in the road i get the rub in the back
you guys recommend increasing the pad in the back, seems to me it's not about rolling fenders right?

i rub slightly at the front right corner, that's it. only rubs on medium to big dips in a straight line, no rubs when I turn. I think it's the plastic wheel well protector.

I came back from Car Nuts today, but they said there is nothing to do on my car (I have been there about 3 or 4 times before). They have already done everything about my rubing problem. Therefore, they recommend me to go bodyshop to do so. At this point, I will see what happened next. If not rubing seriously, I won't do any body work. God bless me

lufamily:

What car do you have and what is your wheel setup? Also, what are the offsets of the wheels? Maybe your offset is wrong or your tires are too wide.

Eurosport:

You have a C36, right? I'm running the same set up as you in my C43 and I rub in the front right. Are you sure the rub is in the back? Also, what are your offsets?

DLS

What are you guys doing on Friday?

My car is 98' C280, and I'm running on AMG Mono II 18*8 wheels offset 31 all the way around. Also, it lowed by H&R sports springs and Bilstein sport shocks. tire sizes are 225/40/18.

Lufamily:

You definitely have to roll your fenders. I run 18x8 and 18x9 with 31 and 35 offsets and 225 in front and 255 in the rear. If your fenders are rolled, then you shouldnt have a problem. Let's get together sometime and we can take a look together. I'll show you my set up. Our cars are basically the same except AMG rolled m fenders already.

You are right, we should get together sometimes and I can take a look yours. By the way, did you lower your car? if you did, which springs are you using now? I appreciate your responds.
