1995 C36 AMG FOR SALE

1995 C36 AMG FOR SALE-scmza.jpg

This is a '95 W202 with 103,8XX miles for sale in NJ. $7995.

This is a one owner, garage kept car. It is in insane as-new condition and priced right for quick sale. I figured I'd give you guys a crack at it before someone buys it.

There is not a scratch on this car inside or out. The wheels are immaculate. Interior is as new with almost no wear on the driver's seat. To see this car is to buy this car. Tires = 90%.

It's pretty easy to tell if one of these has been beat on and this one has obviously been taken care of.

I've never posted here (I'm a ZR-1 forum guy) but if this one dosen't peak your interest then just delete my post!

The Bad: Air blows luke warm, compressor spins, most likely needs recharge. Very slight oil leak from engine seal.

E-mail harrisphiladelphia@gmail.com with questions or to set up an appointemnt.

This car is CLEAN. I can answer any questions (Ask for Jason @ 609-883-2800. AS IS.

If you guys don't find a home for this some punk *** kid is going to end up killing it. .

If this post is against the rules of this forum please delete and acccept my appologies.

Yep, we are a dealer

We are a franchise Subaru and Kia dealer. But it's not a BS car, it just has no place on our lot. Is posting as a dealer against forum rules?

Well if it is...

I'm sure a mod will delete me. I just took it for a ride, I had never driven a C36. What a beast.

I'm sure...

I'm still trying to talk myself out of just buying this one. If I had two nickels to rub together I'd buy it but I need another car like a hole in the head.

Very little difference in a straight line standstill between the C36 and C43 until you get to around 110mph. C43's stop on a dime though! The 36 is bar none an absolute beast for a straight six, she looks pretty! What do the records show regarding engine wiring harness? Mods are seldom here, unless someone flags a post.

ECU

We recieved no records with this car even though it was owned from 2001-Now by the guy who traded it. He ran out of room in the garage and this one got voted off the island.

Until I can confirm otherwise I would assume that the ECU has not been updated.

Sorry: Engine Wiring Harness

Still, unless I can confirm that it was updated I must assume that it has not.

The car was serviced by Princeton MB for the last 9-10 years. I'm waiting for the records from them. The electrics are fine and the car was obviously very well cared for (Car Fax is showing two owners, the car changed hands in 2001 with 63K on the clock and it's sitting at 103 now) that's about 4K miles a year so I don't think that this was a daily driver recently.

Anything that was an issue would have been fixed, it needs a recharge for the A/C currently.

If the wiring harness failed at any point it would have been replaced but I can't just assume that it was replaced proactively.

What's the deal with the wiring harness? Is it a common failure point on these?

eclectic assortment of cars
I thought the C36 guys were kidding, or just being facetious, when they called the wiring harness 'biodegradable', but it actually is!

Yeah man, no hard feelings the car has been well maintained I'm sure just look at those pictures! It's a notoriously common problem though, more or less guaranteed on these cars. The insulating material becomes brittle and flakes off. It's usually hidden until a routine water pump job or anything that jogs the harness on r&r which then destroys the brittle insulation. Can also cause weird electrical gremlins which are an absolute headache.
