I am still looking for the "Right" C43 even if I have to ship it from CA
A year ago i had the VALVE BODY done on the tranny, kickdown switch, ofcourse fluid n filter, the mercedes mechanic said my tranny is in perfect condition and no metal shavings, there's no oil leak or any fluid leak in the whole car, just changed my A/C compressor n got the whole thing worked on so now it blows real COLD, all the things i did to the car is documented and i kept a file for it with all the reciept..

At the same time thanks to the depreciation I was able to pick up my C43 for a song and a dance. I hope you get to sell your C43 to an enthusiast and get what you are asking, good luck.
also to add that AMGs tend to be more expensive to fix and cars this age dont come with a warranty

I agree, specific AMG parts can be expensive, but the rest of the car is reasonable

some parts are more expensive than the regular mercedes, but some are about the same, all i can say is just keep up with regular maintenance, treat the car good and it will give you its ultimate performance, no complain about a C43...

Good luck with sale. Look around and see what cars in your area are going for. If there in the 8k or so put her up for that and see what happines. You can put her up for sale for whatever you want(Even thoue some people will argue and try and tell you what to sell it for) From what I have seen there is a 99 C43 up in WA with 130k on it for $8k(OBO) so I mean you seem to me in the ball park. Over here on the East coast in NJ there is a 99 C43 with 74k on it asking price is $9,950 Not sure what that is about. But anyways good luck with sale. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...item5889ba342c

99 c43,90 mustang gt supercharged convertible,07 acura tl type s, Hummer H3t pickup
Im in Jersey. That guy sells many rebuilt/crashed/theft recovery/title issue cars. He has that car like 2 1/2 years. Non amg replaced bumper,curbed/bent rims, drooping headliner and title issues.Looked at it when I was shopping for my 99 C43 with 133k on it.Paid $8500 for my blk/two tone last jan. 2nd owner, religious maintenance, rebuilt trans @90k with all receipts. A well kept w202 should look crisp and fresh. They are made like bank vaults with durable interior materials.Get a P.P.I!! I WOULD SAY PAY WHT YOU FEEL IS FAIR.If the car is REAL CLEAN and SOLID mechaically 90k- 150k I would say 7-8k tops here in the northeast.

Damn. I was excited. I thought I found someone in the northeast who finds Mercedes Gems with low miles.
