Thanks for your inquiry. Although a W202 C43 AMG Eisenmann system is not a catalog item, we do provide it as a special order product. The wait time would be between 4-6 weeks. The price is $1247.84. I have attached a picture of exactly the system you are asking about that we had made for a previous client. Please feel free to contact me further with any other questions."

Attachment 204526

WOW $1250 is A LOT for a muffler but it does have the 2 inlet pipes so you wouldn't need to go to a Y pipe. You could run headers to some race cats to an X pipe and then straight into the muffler, I bet you would pick up some pretty decent gains but it would cost around $3000-$4000

totally insane and a ripoff IMOP!

Here's another nice Vibrant muffler.

Ok are we really nuts.....Umm do we know how these Vibrant mufflers sound? A Magnalow muffler on the C43 makes NO change in sound/tone...just an example of a " performance'' muffler that sounds/flows no better than the stock AMG it replaces...Hey i feel you it is costly but you have to admit a supersprint or eisenmann sounds wicked!

BS , PTE has this on the back of his Kleeman SC CLK55. There are alot of BMW turbocharged M3's with this muffler as well as Supra's,EVo's,Sti's and others.

This is a well known company. Trust me. This aint no Magnaflow even though magnaflows are good mufflers. Plus both mufflers will be tons lighter than a Eisenmann muffler. Which will also help performance. The stock exhaust from mani to muffler is heavy as hell.

An Eisenmann muffler is LOUD and makes MB's sound like modified Mustangs. The expense is ridiculous and to me not worth it. I will be selling the supersprint exh on my M3 as well to build something better.

I suppose if one just has to have Eisenmann, then you have to pay the 'tax'. I would love one, but I don't think I could justify that kind of spend on just a muffler. I'm sure it's awesome and nicely built but I would spend the money elsewhere.

$1250 gets you that Wavetrac LSD, is a big chunk of change onto a 55 swap or could probably build you a complete cat back (or two!) with custom components.

I think it's a bit like the Akrapovic systems for C63s - $3-5k for mostly sound, let's face it. I think they claim a 5hp gain and 20lbs weight savings. Basically automotive pornography. I'd hit it if I had the cash though. I'm currently in the process of convincing my dentist to snag the Akrapovic system for his newly ordered performance pack C63.

hey i am planning on putting a supersprint resonator and muffler on a c36, will that sound nice ? Or what exhaust would you guys recommend me? And i do not want to chance the cats becauce it would make the gas consumption even worsei dont want it to be raspy but nice and deep a bit like the eisenmann mufflers. My budget is around 1000 euros.

Yes I have their resonator on my car and as I posted b4 many high performance cars use them. Google it,they r a well known company. Mike Rawdowski with the 9 sec turbocharged M3 sells them. Alot of Supra's use them as well as Evo's STi's VW's and BMW's.

I just ordered their muffler for my AMG. I will be ordering one for the Talon now as well.

Take a C43 with an Eisenmann muffler vs a C43 with a full exh like mine, cat back or headers back and the C43 with a custom exh like mines will blow away the C43 with the Eisenmann muffler especially upstairs.

Sell me an exhaust that's functional, not one for thousands of dollars that would just make mine sound like a loud Ford V8 with a performance muffler.

Eisenmann can custom build a C43 AMG exhaust system. It's not a "catalog" part so please contact me if you need more info on it.

And by "exhaust system" they mean a muffler... It got my hopes up for a minute but then their reply to my PM deflated my hopes just as fast

It is a flow through design and it is their race version. I have to get a new piece made from the resonator back to the muffler and I will wait until the spring as she is hibernating for the winter. Here is what it looks like, oh and this one says that it is for a C43.

hey have you already made a vid of that eisenmann muffler on your c36? I ask because i am thinking about buying one for mine

How about getting custom true dual exhaust?? delete the second cat and resonnator then run 2 seperate pipes from cat all the way back to the exhaust (two small exhaust attached together).

I have Kleemann headers with supersprint resonnator and exhaust, and the exhaust has two pipes goin in. I think amg did real ****ty job making the exhaust look so awkward and heavy, but I don't know a crap about how they flow : )
I think they made them with one pipe to reduce exhaust sound and to get the cost cheaper??
Engineers say that "the best is worst enemy of good enough", so I don't think they made it the best they could.
Oh, do you own a C36??? if you do, never mind what I'm saying.

yes I do have a c36, but it is my first car and I dont know much about exhaust tunning. So i thought amg would know what they did when they designed the c36 exhaust system. But if you guys believe different i believe you.
Will the supersprint reso and muffler make it a bit louder and deeper? removing cat and reso aint a good idea with stock muffler ,it will make it rapsy so that aint an option for me.
In short my question is what would you guys do if you would have a c36?

Sorry I haven't yet as I need to get a pipe from the resonator to the muffler bent. No one in my neck of the woods has a mandrel bending machine so I have to go to Vancouver and haven' had time yet. I will post when I finally have this on.

I have the same problem here

It makes no sense to me, if I was an exhaust shop and found out that no one in the local area had a mandrel bender then I would make it a PRIORITY to get one to draw more business, maybe I am crazy...

Yes, the supersprint makes the sound a little deeper but its nothing crazy like the eisenmann. I heard clk430 with custom exhaust and resonnator delete and the car did not have any raspy sound at all, but not sure if that applies to C36.
If I were you, I would look for used eisenmann, race cats, panel airfilter like afe oil free ones, then ecu tuning to make use of the mods you put in : )
If you can't find any exhaust you like, then just get any exhaust from reputable maker and custom fit it.

IvanNesukh has the Eisenmann muffler on his C43 and I have heard it in person SEVERAL times. I have to say that the Eisenmann muffler doesn't make the exhaust note deeper. In fact it makes it a more raspy, higher pitched race sound, like a lambo or ferrari. DEFINITELY a head turner but if you are looking for a "muscle" like tone then the supersprint muffler is probably the better route for you
