I cant decide either, Originally I thought I would never change to C55 because it isn't a genuine one...but since having installed every major part from CLK55/C55 and dont run the C43 kit I'm now leaning towards the re-badge..

My friend just updated me with the progress. The 5.4 is complete with wiring harness, and oil pans transferred. All seals redone as well. Just needs to be thrown into the car

nemam dovoljno dineros to buy the engine, have to find the proper specimen first, most cars in my country were thrashed autobahn stiffs with fake odometers many of these cars ended up in Sweden and finally hit the junkyards.

The stock ecu has been reflashed and it adopted to the new engine perfectly so far. My friend test drove it for 30-40 miles and it all works flawlessly. The thing is a beast according to him and hes owned a w211 e55 before and is currently driving a 996 turbo. I didnt thing my car would feel fast to him but he says it reminds him of his e55. Im so anxious to drive it.

Shes back and shes an absolute joy to drive. 60 to 100 happens before you can realize. The car is able to burn tires off the line with no effort. I still havent gunned it all the way either
