wow! scored a low mile one owner c43

I had been looking for a nice daily driver for a bit and definatly had amg on the brain when i stumbled upon a near mint one owner c43 with 60k on the clock. it was locally purchased and owned by the proverbial old couple that never drove it! i've already ordered a set of h&r springs and am trying to source a carbon fiber grill like the one i had on my s420 years ago but no luck. any way thought i post a pic or two, this isnt my first benz but it is my first amg and i'm still grinning like an idiot every time i go into my garage!

What a find!!! Welcome to the club, that smile isn't going to go away for quite some time. I have had mine for about 6 months now and I was just admiring it today as I walked up to it. I never thought the W202's were that good looking but the AMG versions are a different animal all together... If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it? You SCORED big time with 60k on the dial, our motors are pretty much bullet proof so maintain it and you should be able to pass it down to your kids I think black is the best color for the C43 all though I do like the super rare blue that you will see every now an then. I don't know if you are set on the H&R springs but there is a company called Vogtland that makes springs for our cars that is very reputable, I bought some and am awaiting my camber kits before I install them.

Again congrats on the purchase and welcome to the club

Nice! Great looking car - I found my one owner C43 in Seattle area as well - had 74K on it though if I remember correctly...must be the place for clean low mile amgs! Enjoy!

hey thanks everybody, i'm really happy with it so far. as far as lowering springs i prefer h&r to vogtland. h&r tend to be more progressive i.e soft at first and then more firm the harder you push, where as vogtlands tend to be the same or more linear, they've always felt a bit too soft to me but thats just my opinion.

btw, what happened to club202?

I agree and this opinion on H&R versus Vogtland is also voiced by several other C43 owners in Europe. I believe the OEM springs to begin with come from H&R
Concerning club202, guess it has died.... A great pity. If only we could access the technical threads to make copies....
