1996 C36 Autocross Project
Not the smoothest thing I've seen, but at this point I'm skeptical my intake is to blame, its proper length to preserve resonance charging (I have the HKS mushroom kit):
- New NGK plugs
- New plug wires
- New coils
- Recrafted harness
- New knock sensors
- Sonic-cleaned and flow tested injectors
- Recrafted intake suckers + valvecover seals + other vacuum checkup items
- New MAF

Torque peaked at slightly less than 240 ft-lbs, maybe 230 ft-lbs, I forgot. Torque climbed up to 95% peak at 3K nicely, but there's a nasty dip immediately afterwards. Will scan when I get home. Could be the notorious flatspot people talk about on the M104's.

yup thats the ****ing flat spot
it ruins this engine,
post the graph for i would like to see what power is over 6k rpm
stock size, not 18's. some of the other 202/124 guys use the lightweight CLK 16's with 225/50/16's instead of 205/55's. You can use them too but will need spacers to clear your calipers in front, I may go back to them next year for the weight savings plus a little money savings on the tires themselves.

17x7.5F
17x8.5R
These ones, not sure what he style is called, but significantly lighter than monoblocks. But I do honestly think that the +20 mm tire fitment gives me more time than the additional rotating mass takes away.

By the way, I was doing something with the rear of the car up in the air and noticed something funky: that spoiler is a Lorinser unit!
I would LOVE to pick up a set.
