C43 front tie rod recommendation?

So its time for new tie rods up front. I've looked at autohausaz and they don't have them for our car... I also looked a few other places and it looks like people just sell the entire drag link kit? Do you have to replace the entire drag link assembly or can you just replace the tie rods, if so, where should I buy them and are there any good aftermarket HD sets?

LEMFOERDER is the best brand.
if you have a play, maybe it's time for the complete draglink depending how worn the old one is?
you can buy the tie rods separately, but if there's a excessive wear to your draglink buy it complete, better that way you also get the tie rod ends hooked up on the draglink.
check flea bay for those parts.

2nd best is FEBI BILSTEIN

3rd best is MEYLE HD redesigned parts for suspension.

Looks like your problems are coming up slowly on your car now, did you have a good check before you bought it?

Yeah. Problem is I am insane and if I hear or feel anything at all, ill replace it. So the tech in cali said it looked fine but after a 2k mile trip home and about another 3k since ive been here, I say otherwise. Its only the front left that has a slight amount of play but I would rather replace them both at the same time.

Should I just buy the ends or the whole tie rod? Its just the front left end that showing play...

This looks like a really good price for the entire assembly. $211.82

might as well if it's age related. Do everything in sections as they go.

And you know what this just made me think about why the tech said it was fine and then now that I am home, I am having issues. On the way back home if was about 1am and the road was really dark, I didn't see the huge bump in the high way that hit only the drivers side of my car... This could very well be why I am only having issues on the side.

eyes on the road all the time young man!

better for you to buy the complete draglink, it's no good just to replace one side and let the other side still use old parts.
on your worn bad side, how is the tire wear?
any funky wear n tear issues?

Now that you mention it! Yes! Its wearing on the inside of the drivers side (bad side) and I was wondering what the hell was causing it on just that tire?!

that's one of your problems with a bad outer tie rod end.
did you lift your cars front with the jack and check the wheel for excessive play?
any noise from wheel bearing when you make sharp turns?
if your wheel bearing breaks while driving that's dangerous!!
also check for bad balljoint.
if something snaps on your steering suspension then you will lose steering and you might be in a collision if you're unlucky, god forbid!
on another european forum there was a guy with a w202 he had to part out his car because he crashed it from a bad front suspension part, I think it was from a bad balljoint IIRC, I'm not sure, but he crashed the car he couldn't steer with it!

check the passengers side if the tire wear is healthy and normal?

No I had the bearings checked and they looked like they had been serviced or replaced with in the past 10k miles. The car was sitting on stands and the only place we could spot any play was the front drivers outer tie rod end but I still want the whole thing replaced.
