Personal plate
Looking for some brainstorming on a personal plate for the 43. I'm trying to come up with something with an AMG or German theme. Eight character limit:

SLDGHAMR
Ideas?
On a second note, back last fall we talked about getting together in Charlotte. Anyone still up for that?

eclectic assortment of cars
It's cool you can get 8 characters. Ours are limited to 7 (as far as I know), but recently I've seen normal plates with 8 characters so maybe we can get longer ones now too. Allows for more creativity. I've been racking my brain to come up with something cool for my S2000 for quite some time, but can't seem to get something I like.

Here are the fees for personal Oregon plates (this is for regular plates not "Salmon" plates or "Crater Lake" plates)
Plate Fees: $123 per set ($100 custom fee + $23 plate fee) for a two-year registration period. The custom fee is due again at renewal.
Replacement Fee: $5 at renewal; $10 between renewals (charged when changing to this plate type or replacing the plate).
Proceeds Benefit: Oregon passenger rail programs.
Available For: Passenger Vehicles
So it works out to be $52.50 year + (one time) $23 plate fee

22 X3, 21 330e, 97 M3, 97 C36 (sold), but on the hunt for a clean, low-mile C43!
^You guys are lucky...it used to be that cheap down here in CA too many years ago, before Schwarzenegger mishandled the budgets requiring a massive hike in registration/personalized plates fees. 
Anyway, how about the plate:
SIDEWAYS
I saw it once on a blown mustang cobra down here long ago...seemed like the most appropriate plate, cuz once you hammered that thing, it literally got sideways!
