C43 AMG
Is it a C280 Sport, or a C280 with actual C36 AMG ground effects? If you have the real C36 bumpers, shouldn't you already have fogs? Also, being a 1999, wouldn't a C43 be more appropriate?

Regardless, congrats on your new family member!

The bumper foglights are really expensive. I paid 300+ for 1 of mine that broke before.

the C36 kit doesn't fit model updated W202 cars. If it has a "C36 look" kit, then i would not worry about buying the OEM lights at 250 - 300 a piece. Just mount some nice PIAA or Hella lights in the space. Oh and buy the way, the lower lights are not fog lights, they are aux driving lights.

thought it was the first notch where the lights come out from the high beams but spread onto the floor are the auxilary driving lights

The C36 kit is just like the C43 kit, is just like the modelupdated 98 kit, is just like the pre model updated bumpers...it all fits every single W202! Only thing that needs to be changed are the bumper guidance rails at the sides...that is all.

I think we have been over this, but here is how it works in the US (Euro cars are different).

1 click right - parking lights
2 clicks right - low beam head lights

1 click out (available at 1 click and 2 clicks right) - fog lighs located in the main headlight housing

2 clicks out (available at 1 click and 2 clicks right) - aux driving lights in the air dam and rear fog light

Yes I know this seems odd to have the driving light on and the rear fog light, but that is how it is. You can rewire the switch to invert the fogs and aux driving lights, which would make more sense.

It's easier than that. You swap the wires hooked into the relay socket on each side. Then you have rear fog/front fog, and auxiliary/no front fog, just like you said.
