name of Hans Werner Aufrecht ", the AMG created many racing cars assist with MB Engineers, until they corporate again to made another
AMG beast called C43 in 2/1997, after almost a year in 11/1998 -3/1999, MB & AMG joined together officially as named
as "Mercedes-AMG ", ENJOY it.................

97's are the rarest year, I have the same exact car with 175k miles and I run it hard, but maintenance the **** out of it. Its been such a solid car, I couldn't be more impressed.
How many miles are on yours? I recommend a full tune up and trans service if the previous owner doesn't have records of doing anything.

97 c36, 89 BMW 325i
Bought the car from my mechanic who owned it and drove if for about a year. During that time he did tons of work (head gasket, suspension, brakes, windshield, etc, etc.) I have all the receipts from him and the previous owner. It looks like it was really well cared for. I have hardly had a chance to drive it. I can't wait to get to know it better!
Anybody got a pic of the aforementioned avantgarde grill on the car?
Headlights look new in person and the fogs are yellow. They all look great in the sunshine (unlike the first picture).
