Do a search as 503 on here did this operation (clear glass and HID's). You can also buy some clear glass fogs but you have to be careful choosing the good product (many cheap crap around on internet): If you find some Depo's go ahead as they are good substitute quality. Lately, you can remove the fogs and dismantle them to see if the reflector is rusty or tarnished and the seal between the glass and housing. Easy stuff.

In my opinion all these HIDs are nice to look at but not nice for looking. I tested something about 10 different bulbs and all of them had strange light spreading. There was just 1 bulb the light was half way acceptable. The all were bright, but most of them were illuminating trees and houses and in the middle of the road there was a dark spot.

Here and probably all of Europe, if you have Xenons or HID's, you need the adjusting level option, otherwise you end up blinding oncoming traffic. Nothing worse than having your eyeballs seared by some modification which brings no improvement in visibility IMO. That's why most HID kits are illegal here

My HID fogs LIGHT up the road, they definitely spread out to the side but I could drive safely at night with just my fogs.
