Need Your Advise

I bought some Oem amg wheels. They are staggered and size 18 inch.
The back tires rubbed a bit but I fixed that and all is good. The front however touch the upper ball joint right where the bolt is tighten.

The tires are 245-45-18, so they are to high and possibly to wide?
Anyways, what size tires do I need so the front wheels will fit nicely with no rubs?

Thanks in advance for the advise!

225 front is best for w202 AMG
get 225/40 front and 255/35 rear if you haven't bought new tires yet.

Thanks man! I will buy that size for the front. In the rear I have 275's that came with the wheels. They rubbed a little in the back towards front by the body frame bushing. I was able to grind and knock in a little of the metal and that fixed it. Those 275's look awesome on the car.

Here's one but I will post another tomorrow from the back and under that shows how WIDE these are. I may get some h&r spacers to bring them out more? Seems a bit in from the pic but not bad life.

I did have to do some grinding and use a hammer here and there but not bad at all.

And here it shows the stock 17 wheels vs the new 18 wheels and tires. Dunlops all around..... Rear are 275/40/18.

Going to have to try 235's and 225's in front and see which looks and fits better. Thanks for your helps guys!

Anyone interested in buying two Dunlop tires? 245/45/18. Maybe you guys have a different car that these tires will fit. They cost like $300.00 each on the web... I will take any reasonable offer. Have plenty of thread left...

i hope you didn't have to beat up your rear panels to make your rear tires run freely?

Thanks. I did have to use a hammer to hit the corners from the inside panel. Not much hitting, but I also had to grind the metal down a bit. Than I under coated it and looks like new. Now I could never go back to any tires that are not 275's.
