cd magazine wont eject

Was playing my Cd's yesterday and it played fine. I went to eject the magazine later on and it would not eject. Tried several times nothing. I look at the radio and it says E-06 when you put it on cd. Cd's wont play and magazine wont eject. What does the E-06 error code mean?

try to remove the cd cartridge with a rular if possible?

it happens that the deck loses connection with cd-changer, you get an error in display.
happen to me a few times

my powerloom connector was oxidised once I checked, didn't get any good connection when hooked onto the changer.

remove connector from cd clean connector with CRC electronic spray

My changer did not work at all before. I disconnected and reconnected the wire from the changer and it worked fine afterwards. I think in my case, it needed to reset.

I red on another forum, a guy had his cartridge stuck, he carefully used the rular to reliese the cartridge.

did you insert the cartridge correct with the arrow pointing down?
correct insert is when you see the white label ontop of the cartridge.

knock on wood, haven't had this problem yet

I had the same problem a while ago, I searched around and found some videos on youtube that showed how to manually eject the magazine. I can't remember how but search and you can find it.

I wound up tearing that piece of crap out...

Call Cory at Kleemann

Were you listening to burned CD's?? They are thicker and could cause the magazine to jam.

Your best bet is to take the CD player apart (it's easy) and remove the magazine.

This thread details how to take the CD changer apart.

When I asked for help you gave me no info and gave me the one liner "call cory at Kleemann"

When I comment and tell you that I can't remember where the info is but it is out there you give me a snide "LOL thanks "

Cory can't do anything as we are running the EGS51, must have EGS52 to turn ready state monitor off. I have a '99 not '98

I hope you solve your problem.

REALLY! So you can read people's minds through a computer! That's a great God given gift if thats the case and if that is how you took my resonse. I was not trying to give you a snide remark, and it would be wrong for me to assume that you are a delicate person.

My engine check light is still on and I never followed up with Cory to find out if they dicovered how to turn it off yet on my computer hence me telling you to call Cory. If I had an answer to your question I certainly would have provided you with the info as I have done for others whenever I have done upgrades on my car. Apparently there was some miscommunication for you to assume what my response was. Sorry that you took it that way which was not my intent.

Yes I fixed my CD player and thanks again for the info.

In your response to my question you neglected to mention the fact that your CEL light is still on. Had you of mentioned that it would have made more sense why you were telling me to ask Cory. Your one liner gave me the impression that you didn't have the time to answer my trivial question. I apologize if I mistook your answer, the internet leaves much to perception which is why it helps to be very specific.

I am glad you fixed your CD player problem
