Harmonic balancer / Crank pulley tool
I got the Corteco harmonic balancer for my C43 and everywhere that I order the holder tool from is sending me one that wont fit. I've ordered four now each from separate vendors. I just today got the fourth and despite them saying it was the smaller looking tool (which will presumably fit) it is again the larger one.
What are you guys doing to get this #@%$% thing on? I'd love to buy the OEM pulley but its 200+ dollars and its already too late to return this Corteco pulley.
I tried making one with plumbing as per that youtube video but what I have is the 27mm bolt which the 1 1/2" fixtures wont fit inside the pulley either.
Can I get the hex key crank bolt from someplace to use that plumbing fixture holder?
If I can't find that I guess at this point I'm going to have to buy the 1 1/2 " plumbing stuff again and grind down the O.D. to get it in there. If I had a shop I'd have done that to begin with of course..
Any help would be appreciated!

What I used was a steel plumbing flange for a 2" pipe drilled and tapped for some 12x1.5 bolts I had laying around from an Audi suspension. I attached that to about 3ft of angle iron. It was all crooked and horrible since I had to free hand all the drilling and tapping but it worked nicely once I got it wedged in there. With the new drill bit and tap it was about 35-40$ compared to 60-150$ for the tool everyone sells that only fits the OEM Mercedes pulley (which are about 250$ currently). It's roughly 100$ vrs 310$ if you count buying the pulleys.
