Headers?

Just curious how many of you are in favor of Kleemann headers? What did the Kleemann C43 headers retail for new? Are they worth the $$$? I have the opportunity to purchase a brand new set for $900 USD. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thx

You know you will need to remove the engine to exchange exhaust headers?
Makes sense when your stock headers are damaged only (my opinion).

Yes, I realize that the installation requires the engine to be removed. Are they any power gains if any? Thx

2006 C55 RENNtech
I've used them they are great. I did my install along with 5.5 and renntech intake and tune so its difficult to say how much hp i gained with the headers alone but it sounds great. Also you may have to use 02 extenders or relocate the rear 02 sensor or the cel comes on and to get the most out of it I did high flow cats from kleemann as well.

Is $900 a good price for them? I don't know what they retailed for but, I suspect more than that. Thx

2006 C55 RENNtech
If its brand new with all pieces like bolt nuts and gaskets its good
If used you may have to check for warping due to heat just to be on the safe side.Any leaks will result in cel I had to remove and reinstall mine for proper fit.
Should you decide to purchase it check on ebay and purchase 90% 02 extenders it will make your 02 sensors much easier for install and may even help with cel.
The reason for this is that Kleeman headers 02 location is too close to each other, and the rear 02 sensor almost gets the same reading as the front.
If you have the time and patience and intend to keep your car go for it.
Other than that don't bother.
I only wanted a little more first brakes an then 5.5 then headers then tune then
polished heads and then renntech intake now working on kleemann supercharger.Once you start you gonna want more.
But I'll do it all over again...

Thanks for the great info. Your C55 must run and sound awesome. I really like the RENNtech intake but, a little too expensive for me at the moment. I just finished reassembly of the entire car as I had it repainted. I am extremely happy with the Eisenmann race muffler along with secondary cats delete. I'm glad that I kept the resonator as it is pretty loud and I did not want to encounter any droning on the highway. Do you happen to know what the retail price was on the Kleemann headers? Thx

Retail was around $1,000. I bought mine from Kleemann for $600 but they were made incorrectly and required modification.

$900 brand new with everything isn't a bad deal

Does anyone know the rough estimate of increased HP with the Kleemann headers and are they worth their value? I appreciate any and all input. Thanks

I talked to the seller and he is willing to take $750 USD, shipping included. I am doing the install myself but, out of curiosity, do you know what the cost to install them would be? Also, has anyone confirmed the HP gains on the dyno?

Thanks!

I believe you would pay in between $400-$800 for install. I do not know of anyone who has dyno'd a C43 with the Kleemann headers, I believe Kleemann is claiming 25-30 RWHP
