Kind of a cross post from my C55 'diary' thread, but since I know lots of people on this forum too, I'd thought I'd post up here too.

These arrived earlier this evening:

OZ Superleggera III, staggered, 18x8.5 +32, 18x9.5 +36. Forged, 3 piece wheel. Got them for a steal after keeping an eye them for quite some time from a Craigslist seller in the Vancouver area. They will go onto my C55, but ostensibly they should fit my C43 too.

Those do look amazing. If you have the time, I'd really to see how they look on a dropped C43 like yours. I'm sure it would look good...

Tirerack says that the fronts are 23 lbs and the rears 26 lbs. I will try to weigh them tonight with my luggage scale (not that precise, but it's all I have) to confirm. I believe the same wheel in 19" is a pound or two more. I actually don't want to go bigger than 18", the ride will probably suffer too much for my taste.

How much less do they weigh than AMG equivalent?

Somewhere in my C43 'build' thread I weighed the 18" Monoblocks. I think they weighed fractionally more than the stated weights for the SLs.

Hey Saaboteur,

I didn't realize that you were in or around Van city. I am also in Van. We should hookup sometime as I'd love to check out some of your rides.

Cheers

It is much more than I exspected for that wheel. I guessed both should weigth less than 20 lbs.
