C43 resonator delete
Im planning on doing a resonator delete on my stock c43 this coming weekend. From what Iv been reading on here I understand that I will need a 2 to 1 pipe entrance for the front part and then the bypass pipe thats cut to the correct length. My question is is there any welding required? Also the bypass pipe should be the only pipe I am cutting just so it is the correct length? Thank you all for your time n help.

if you remove centre resonator you don't need to cut anything.
if you remove 2-dary cats you will have to cut.
i didn't cut my exhaust, only had the resonator removed
first 3 pictures seen is my replacement part which i bought from the motherland of my car
last picture is taken from others, this full pipe kit is needed if you remove the 2-dary cats
if you remove 2-dary cats you will have to cut.

Kowalski man Thanks Iv read many of your stuff. Thats what I was assuming so it shouldnt be too hard of a weekend project im excited. And since the cats arent going to be messed with it shouldnt throw a check engine and also emissions shouldnt be a problem!

You can remove both secondary cats and resonator and it won't throw a CEL either. Same story with emissions, you'd also be all good. I've done that and passed emissions tests 3 times without any issue in different places.
I'd look around for videos and sound checks to find what you like better. Just removing the resonator won't make that much of a difference. But you'll like it if you're only looking for a subtle change.
A lot of guys here - including myself - have removed the secondaries (cats) and resonator.

Well, you have two primary cats, two secondary cats and the resonator before the muffler. So removing the resonator only won't change a lot but will give you more growl... removing secondaries and resonator will let that V8 make itself heard for sure
Here are 2 videos of resonator delete only
And 2 videos of secondaries + resonator deleted

It would not effect emission much if resonator and cats are deleted?? I live in Los Angeles..... California F'in emissions controls are hard on us.
BTW I got a little exited there at the small rev cats & resonator delete. I'm all tingly and stuff......

some peepol don't want their exhaust to be too loud.
only resonator delete will give you more growl than stock system which is fine to me.
I didn't want to ruin my exhaust by cutting it down.
if you want better soundperformance remove your cats too.
car will sound like this, sound from the pipes gives me wood everytime

I believe that in California you also have a "visual" with the emission test and if the exhaust is different, you may get a fail. I'm not 100% sure though.

I may do the resonator delete on mine. I'm really hesitant, because I live in the deep south. So many rednecks around here with ****ty exhaust on their pickup trucks and old camaros, and I REALLY don't want to be mixed in with them.

Just look at all the modern AMG's, I just wonder how they get away with their exhausts and cut out valves, etc..

I guess a 1 slipped in front of the price. For 279 Euros that is a great deal and if it has a good quality build included, then I would not hesitate.

he did a priceadjustment increasing the price

I've seen this before on eBay when the seller does not have inventory but wants to keep the item active. They bump the price, usually by $1000, until inventory is available. Ask seller to find out for sure because he just sold on 11/7 for euros 279.

Hi all,
Just got this straight pipe from germany (Ebay), great quality, despite the back attachement needs some adjusting (bending) but installation went without any major issue,
Resulst is... well... quite disapointing, sound is only slightly louder but really difficult to notice from the outside,
From the inside, well, slightly more noticeable,
The real gain being actually some kilograms on the stainless steel pipe !
