C43 Heater Fan

C43 Heater Fan
Greetings. 1998 C43 heater fan started acting up 1 month ago, wouldn't work when starting car until I hit a few bumps, then it worked. Now it never works. I checked 1 fuse under the hood and it's good.

This fan motor got internal brushes & bearing, when one of these goes away, it will starts to hesitate,
you have to pull it out and check them, or you can get a new fan with motor assembly...

Thanks for the information. Are the brushes easy to repair? How do you tell which ones are bad?

Thanks for the information. Are the brushes easy to repair? How do you tell which ones are bad? Also any idea where to order new brushes and/or a whole new fan assembly?

When blower works by hitting or pump it, means brushes are gone,
if blower shaking when its cold, means motor bearing goes away,
if it starts then stops with every "2-3" seconds, means motor armature die, which symptom you have..??

Mine does this, but it also shows it on the climate control display. The black boxes that show fan speed will all suddenly be empty, and the fan isn't blowing. I can sometimes turn one of my blinkers on and the fan will come back on...?
My blinkers also intermittently work, but my wiper delay always works. Confused.
