Engine mounts replaced

Had my engine mounts replaced use the Lemfoerder from autohaus part #2662401. I noticed steering vibration minimized and the car feels jolty. The old mount was so bad and cracked it was about half inch shorter compared to the new mounts..My new found mech from CL had to raise the engine to get the new mounts in.

FYI..If you live in sac or central valley and need suspension work done pm me I
found a dude on CL legit & does clean work. Family used to own a suspension shop the dude enjoys what he does, he treated my car like it was his. The best part was he charges reasonable. I had him installed my euro springs and front shocks then he had time to install my engine mounts...I guess you can say I'm very happy

147,712 miles to be exact..well I noticed minize vibration on steering wheel and car is jolty. Also I'll check later but before the install I use to notice movement when I turn on the car and when you brake suddenly slight thud movement of the engine

No..you'll have to use the old bolts. There's two bolts one on top and bottom.

my car is a bit less than half your mileage
my rubber mounts might still be ok, but a 15 year old car with old rubbers who knows in what condition engine mounts are?

You can always ask the dealer or an indie shop to check your mounts. But, the signs were there for me the thud sounds when I brake real hard feels like the engine moved forward and leaks from the mounts. You could also check by having someone press the gas pedal while it's in parked, watch the engine movement when the gas pedal is pressed if you see large movements the mounts are going out and need to replaced. Hope this helps..

64.15 each from autohaus I believe they were less than oem last time I was comparing prices. Lemfoerder is a good brand better the URO

Did this in both my C43s and eliminated all vibrations in steering wheel, no engine feel in the pedals or butt of the seat. Also helps maintain angle of the driveline probably returning a bit of lost power.

but I kinda miss the raw feeling my cars had with that v8 sitting on the frame. Felt more bad ***
