Valiant effort, but it's usually a pretty uphill battle on the 98+ w202. These particular cars rust the worst out of any Mercedes I have been around. The only way to have no rust is to not drive it in the winter.

I have to agree with you and that's why mine stays under cover in winter. However, previous owner did use it in winter, so it does have a nice rust spot just front of the rear fender close to the lower moulding. Otherwise underneath it is clean. Something to check out when it's off the road in the fall.

I also have a secondary cat and resonator delete and I can confirm that until you get on the loud pedal, the exhaust is very reasonable. Never enough to get you in trouble. No drone but more of a constant growl. After thousands of kms driving, I don't notice it at all. Over 3000 rpm it disappears but then you are probably travelling at over the legal limits...
