C43 to C55 swap. Then came the blower ;)
Friend picked it up dirt cheap. Car needed a lot of work. Needed paint, new control arms, bushings etc. He wanted me to install a 5.4L engine from a 01 E55 AMG into his C43. So I did.
4.3L engine:
Engine to go in 5.4L from E55:
Removal process:
4.3L coming out:
the 4.3L sitting in the back. Now have to swap everything over onto the 5.4L and install the transmission.
Mating the 55 motor to the 43 transmission
Getting it ready to install back into the car
Going in...

Putting everything back together...
Got the car painted, lowered and 18 inch E55 wheels.

Just dealing with the MAF, MAP wiring at the moment so any tips and help is appreciated. Also adding looped fuel rail and bigger injectors.

Good luck getting that to run correct. The stock ecu has no provision for a map sensor, blowe clutch, or the blowoff valve. You can do some things to alter the maf signal but it won't run like a factory setup. Lots of custom work will be necessary, good luck, post results.
You might want to contact kleemann to get info on the maf setup they use for the supercharger stuff on the old me2.0 cars.
Ideally you'd want to do it on a 2000 year and have the whole car as a donor and use its me, trans, eis etc and youd still need lots of wiring to make that work and not sure if the cluster would work and still not like factory.

Update: It starts up on stock tune and is driveable. I have the divert-er valve open and belt off. Having trouble wiring the new throttle body in so the car has no throttle response.

There is a guy on here who did the same exact setup as you with much success. He has posted a thread here in the clk55 w208 section I will look for it. He is an mb mechanic . Great job you are doing there do not give up on it! His name is Benzman
