Just purchased my first AMG. 99 C43 looking to do a restomod. I know the C32-55 345mm fronts are a direct swap but was wondering if the 06 S65 rear 348mm can be swapped in? Looking to get the largest brakes that still fit in 17in wheels. Found these on eBay with the same basic 4 piston caliper

I think the distance between bolt holes is (90mm), isn't..?,,

If the distance between bolt holes is (75mm), it should fit..!

restomod on a 17 year old car? j/k

what are you going to do with it?

in case you didn't already know, look at the 55 swap thread stickied here. that's the ticket to real fun in a C43

Well I picked this car up from the original owner @155k needing some tlc but super clean for being a northern car. Plans so far: bbk, 55 swap, 17x8.5s square set w 245s, h&r bars, 60mm h&r springs and adjusters, single adjustable bilstein inverted race shocks, sl-slk external oil cooler, stouter 722.6 trans, LSD and gears.

c43 brakes are way better then "Shiny" C32 brakes.

Maybe so but the brakes have lots of rust on calipers carriers etc plus it needs brakes as as service rotors being fairly expensive. If I'm going to replace them I want to upgrade and what better way than factory amg parts. Shiny or not. Larger diameter, more Pistons, better heat dissipation, and cheaper OE service parts=Goal. I'm a tech of 20+ years and this is my toy. Lol
