Driving about a week ago on my last load of moving into a new place and the car decided to just lose power and eventually die a few hudred feet later. Check engine came on and the car was never able to start back up since.

It wants to turn over but all it does is struggle.

The code I came up with next to three or four missfire codes(which im hoping are only results from whatever the issue is) is code P0110.

I tried a spare maf sensor which worked last time I tried it but no change.

Any help is apreciatted

If I recall correctly when it happened to mine (2 days after I purchased the beast), you can wait for the engine to cool and it should crank and start fine. Just don't turn off the engine, not unless you are done with driving for a couple of hours.

From the OP's comments he was driving and the vehicle lost power and died. That doesn't sound like the CPS to me....

PJ how did you get home?
did you call triple-A towing your DB?

did your car stop pulling on a sharp turn?
if all oil ends up in one corner of the chamber car won't pull.
this happened to me once doing a sharp left turn when I ran a yellow light being lazy to stop

dry sumps are better

I tried starting the car multiple times since. Its been sitting in the garage the whole time and it had planty of time to cool down.

Im starting to think the p0110 came on because I attempted to start it with no maf and I should be more concerned with missfires.

I have cyl. 4,5, and 6 missfires and a code for multiple cylinder missfires.

I was less than 5 miles from home on the shoulder of a busy highway. Due to lack of available tow trucks, i was forced to go with one of the more expensive ones.

Got towed home on a flat bed ($160 us) with $15 tip

in my car there is a certain twisty turn that i like to take at a fast speed, first hard right, then short straightaway followed by another hard right, then hard left and finally one more hard right.

this twisty without fail will always bring my low oil light on even if i just topped it off 1 hour ago. the low oil light will go off if i drive down the road for a bit or pull over and shut off and restart.

Ive seen that happen in a friends c36 that he tracked. His way around was to build an internal barrier that prevented thenoil from sliding up past the pump.

But for me I was on a slight downhill on a straight road.

This is definetly not an issue here

I should be able te remove it but I didnt wanna go that route because im not completely sure its the pump.

Are there any codes for the fuelpump related issues. A missfire can be a cause of fuel not getting to the cilynders I guess.

Thanks for your help man. Ihave a spare pump.and ill try swapping it this weekend

Quote: Which film are you talking about ^^?
MAF contains a thin film, that measure the amount of air, and sense the temperature (ITA) printed on upstream,

sometimes this hot film affected, due to age and dirty filter, that will cause wrongly measure of air amount,

ECU then will interrupted, and misfires will appears in some of coils sparks,,

even if your MAF not completely damage, but the symptoms you provided are a prove of a bad MAF film..!!

Ill be doing some teoubleshooting this weekend. I did replace the fuel pump relay recently with a used one just to see if it worked and I left it in there.

Maybe it wasnt good after all? Wouldnt a bad relay throw a specific code not just a missfire code?

Bad Relay could cause sudden shut off, but if the car shut off constantly.!,

you can simply test the fuel pressure to make sure if fuel pump is weak or bad..

Swapped the relay with my c280 but no go.

I dont have the tools to test the pressure so I think Ill just swap the pump today. Its probably the original one anyway and is due to being replaced
