Just seen your post and it's your first one, so WELCOME aboard in the one and only W202 C36/C43 forum.
Some details in replay to your question, and by the way tell us more regarding your 43 and with some photos too...
Very easy if you use the correct MB "keys", but sometime you can get around this with two thickish feeler gauges (remember them?) used to measure valve clearance on older engines.
Slide in the appropriate key (L & R) side of the radio and gently pull out. Disconnect the wires and plugs. Job done

Not sure tho' whether I can get easy access to the NAPA stuff as I'm in Brisbane, Australia
I'll have a go at at adding a photo or two of my C43

they're the same at the dealership too... around $20
on ebay you can find them around $15
very useful tool to remove radio and also A/C control panel (with climate control version) in the w202.

No rubber sleeves on mine though and they are genuine MB parts
