Transmission Part #?

Hey guys. So I'm just about finished replacing the PLIL and pilot bushing on the tranny. I look up on the side of the bell housing and notice
part# 210 271 08 01. The side of the tranny has part# 140 271 28 01. Shouldn't this be part# 202 270 39 00?
I purchased the car from the original owner's son who inherited the car from his deceased father. I just assumed that the car was all original. Is this the correct transmission? I've been researching Mercedes years/models and have no idea what vehicle this is for. Any input is appreciated!

I think I had the same question when I was servicing mine. Zayed cleared this up. Perhaps look in my 722.6 transmission maintenance thread, should be in there...

PLIL is the parking lock interlock linkage. I can't see the stamp on the housing as it may be hidden by oil seepage.

Funny at how an abbreviated nickname can originate when one was just too lazy to type!

I can't answer that question as I wasn't present.
