99 C43-Any Interest?
Hey everybody!
Looking to finally sell my (143) white 1999 C43 AMG. Two-tone gray/black interior. I am moving and cannot take it with me.
It has 162k miles on it. No rust, was a California and Nevada car before me. I had it garage kept for the past 4 years & put a lot of time in refreshing things. Bought it with 102k miles. Have a ton of receipts on record. No codes. Mileage will not go up; I don’t drive the car anymore. Plus the winter salt landed on the roads so this wouldn’t be driven anyway.

$3900
Location: Illinois
Pros: Runs & starts every single time without fail
Staggered 18" Carlsson 1/6 Evo wheels
Brand new 225/40/18 Hankook Evo tires
Lemforder complete tie rod assembly
Sachs steering stabilizer
Lemforder upper control arms
Lemforder lower ball joints
Recently replaced the engine mounts with Lemforder as well.
Lemforder transmission mount.
Idler arm bushing.
Lemforder flex discs.
Febi belt tensioner.
Both front hub assemblies.
OEM coolant expansion tank.
OEM washer fluid tank.
Newer OEM transmission conductor plate.
K-Mac adjustable front lower control arm bushings
Drilled C230 front rotors with Akebono Euro ceramic pads all the way around.
Bilstein B8 shocks
European spec springs
Resonator & secondary cat delete with y-pipe to factory muffler.
Just rebuilt the rear multilink; literally maybe 10 miles on it so both sides:
Lemforder thrust arms
Lemforder control arms
Lemforder tie rods
Adjustable camber arms with stainless rod ends & hardware.
Just had the window tint done with Llumar 35% Ceramic on the windows & 50% on the front windshield.
Custom Speed43 airbox with aFe Pro Dry S filters.
The interior is in great shape minus the driver's seat & steering wheel. The driver's seat is showing some wear & sagging a bit, but is not completely destroyed like some. Rest of the interior is in awesome condition-no rips no tears no sagging headliner. All 5000k led interior lighting. Factory radio hardwired for AUX. Dual USB chargers in the center cubby as well.
Exterior: surprisingly good shape for its age & mileage. Few dings, but really shows quite well. Unfortunately just took a bad rock chip on the front bumper. More smaller rock chips on the front bumper. Not missing any trim pieces. Xenon headlights with newer bulbs.
Cons:
Rebuilt title: was in transport to another member here when the transport truck slid off the road & I believe it landed on its roof. I have a couple pictures of the damage. The collision center replaced the roof & fender.
Front bumper could use a respray.
Headlight wipers do not work.
Sunroof doesn't work.
Wheels need to be refinished
Rear tires need to be replaced soon.
Driver's seat cushion is showing wear.
The car has a front left wobble when driving; I have not been able to get the car aligned since installed the K-Mac adjustable front lower control arms & adjustable rear camber arms.
Valve cover gaskets are leaking; I have the genuine parts, but have not had any time to replace them.
I've loved owning this car & have never even seen another C43. Had plans to 55 swap it, but it's time for this to go. Bought an '04 E55 to replace it. Like I said, I am moving & need to sell it soon. Factory 17" AMG Mono spare tire. Car may come with some extra parts too if asking price is met.
Probably missing some things here & there, but feel free to reply or PM me with any questions.

bro, it's sorry to see you let her go.
I hope she finds a good home.
how long did you have the mono wiper in vertical position?
did you take it back to original position because bolt holding wiper arm in vertical position came lose all the time from brute force while wiping?
before you bought this car, car was flipped on the trailer in an accident.
did repair shop manange to find an AMG rolled front fender for your car or did you get stock w202 fender then rolled it after?
we should all fear getting into an accident if front fenders gets hit, I bet there are nomore rolled AMG fenders from factory!!

fender looks rolled in one of the pics with the vertical wiper arm.
I had mine twaeked in vertical pos, arm is way too heavy to par in vertical pos, nut came lose all the time and wiper stopped working, had to put it back to stock position
don't recommend fiddling with wiper arm, keep it in original place!

mono wiper wiping window a few times back n forth, then the frikkin' nut came loose!
then all of a sudden I had no wiper working because the mono wiper arm is waaaaaaaaaaaay to heavy to park in the centre!!
real DTM cars had a light weight mono wiper arm made out of aluminium.
DTM stuff are feather weight compared to heavy factory mono wiper arm, it can't park in the middle when stopped from brute force wiping window

For those interested, here are a few more pictures of the interior. Sorry it’s a bit dirty, will be cleaned prior to sale

thanks buddy, glws. you might get a bit more cash if you parted with those rims and other goodies.
i am thinking about shelving my c43 for another merc too. w211 or w220 amg is very tempting. i'd probably keep the 43 though and drop the m113k in.

Beautiful C43, amazing for the money!
All my money in Crypto for now, would be 2K I estimate to ship it (if you would be willing to sell it to me overseas).
Someone local should buy it!

Everytime I see a 202 I miss my C43 and wish I had the space to pick up an extra car. This one seems like a perfect candidate for 55 conversion.... hmmmmm... Where in IL are you?

me and my wife were BOTH driving C43's and had two babies two years apart in them! Safe, practical, reliable cars! One of many reasons I'm keeping my w202 is that it's the one my babies were riding in when they learned to yell "go faster daddy! faster!"
