Thank you Daniel. I don't get why these guys don't want better performance. It's not about the extra 10HP, it's the extra 10 pounds of torque that I like! Great for city driving.

I guess the majority of owners must spend their cash on flashy stuff which can be seen and looked at when cruising around, not the more obscure parts that lurk under the hood and really improves performance

I make them high enough to make power but not touch the hood when flooring the car. Each one looks different as they are hand made so they will always look a bit different but same performance. Just an update I sold this air box. For those that emailed wanting one you will need to send me your air box or send payment so I can order one from eBay. The prices for these boxes have gone up so price may be the same or a little higher depending on what I pay on eBay.

So, I just installed one of Geo's fine modified air boxes on my perfectly stock C43. The first good news is it still looks perfectly stock! The greatly increased height of the rear of the air box is so subtle a change when installed that it looks like it should be just the way it is.
The second good news is it was easy peasy to make the changeover, even including the modified elbow, which fits below the MAF device. The car ran a bit rough at idle when I first restarted following the install, but in about 5 minutes of driving it settled down, and now it's perfectly well behaved, as always.
Can't specify the 10hp/10tq is there, but the car does seem to be even more responsive to the right pedal than before. (Hardly seems possible...) I am considering doing the Eurocharged CPU tune, available here in Houston, so if I do that I will try to have before and after dyne runs done at that time. I still have my stock air box and elbow, so I can do the whole series.
Geo is very easy to work with, and does exactly what he says he will do, every time..

This is the first ive heard of a rough idle at the beginning while using my air box. I think maybe the connection at the throttle body might have been a little loose. Either way glad it fixed itself after 5 minutes, really weird but glad it worked out.
Also, doing a Dyno side by side with stock and modded air box is interesting. Because the ECU needs to adapt for the increase of air coming in. That don't happen in minutes. I've had customers tell me after a day or two the car started to feel more responsive. And that makes sense because the computer is now feeding a bit more gas to welcome the increased air coming into the engine.
Im not an expert but that's how I've noticed the increase in power in my first tests with my air box. The more I drove the better the car pulled. But who knows maybe a Dyno one air box after the other may work....
For sure get the ECU tune, let them know you have more air coming in... After the tune you will feel the car pull hard when shifting to second gear. If you floor it and get the kick down it will really go!
I will have this air box for sale this Tuesday if anyone wants it. This air box has different better material to put it together. I now use OEM plastic combined with abs high heat resistant plastic.
